During the safety inspection, a whining sound was coming from the inducer/exhaust motor. This is normal due to the aging of the unit. Customer was advised to keep an eye out for sounds of any grinding. This could indicate that the motor is failing. Otherwise, the system is running properly and efficiently, and is ready for the winter season.
Technician diagnosed a bad capacitor on a Carrier furnace. He replaced the capacitor; as well as, the furnace blower door. The system is now operating properly and efficiently.
